Short biosketch

Marie Chabert received the Eng. degree in Electronics and Signal Processing from ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France, and the M.Sc. degree in Signal Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, both in September 1994. In December 1997, she received the Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing and in 2007 the Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches (HDR) both from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse.
Marie Chabert is a Professor in signal and image processing. She is with the engineering school ENSEEIHT of the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, part of the University of Toulouse where she is giving lectures and labs in signal processing, probability and statistics.

Since 2017, she is the head of the Signal and Communication group of the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT). Her research interests include non-uniform sampling, time-frequency diagnosis and condition monitoring, statistical modeling of heterogeneous data in remote sensing.

Since 2016, she has been serving as a member of the Section 7 of the Comité National de la Recherche Scientifique (CoNRS).

She served as a member of the Section 61 of the Conseil National des Universités (CNU) from 2010 to 2012 and in 2015 and as a member of the steering committee of the "Signal and image processing" CNES Expertise Community from 2012 to 2018.
